Peppers in sour cream

Peppers in cream is one of my favorite salads. In addition to beautiful and fresh taste they are healthy. Usually we make them for the winter.
Here I will not put the measures because it depends on the amount of pepper that we use. Someone will want to make 5-6 pepper or 5 kg. I will explain the procedure.

We clean peppers of seeds and salt tham inside and leave for 6-7 hours. We squeeze water from peppers. We salt cream a little and fill the peppers with it. Put in order them in a jar or a can. It is much nicer when you put over them the line of cheese (In Serbia we use cow's milk cheese from the vat). But if you do not have the cheese you do not have to put it. Sour cream is enough. Put in order as we have material. We coat the top with sour cream and put a pinch of salt. With something we press (lid or plate). We can immediately eat, but it is better to stand for about 7 days.
The peppers go well with roasted potatoes. Just wash potatoes, cut and salt it. Bake it in well heated oven. I bake it at 250 degrees.


Princes krofne - cake

This recipe gave me my friend Jelena and she is the author of photo. Yesterday I tried. They are excellent.

First we boil 125 ml of water, 125 ml of oil and some salt. When it is boiled, add in it 125 g of flour and stir it with mixer, than add 3-4 eggs, one by one and mix it all. Leave it to cool down. Grease the pan with oil, put little flour, shake the pan and spray with water. With spoon remove donuts and put them in the pan. Heat oven 15 minutes at 220 degrees and bake donuts 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees, not opening the oven.

When the donuts are ready leave them to cool.

We make the filling with 2 pudding cooked in 1 / 2 liter of milk. Cool.
On other hand we whip 200 g cream. In the chilled pudding mix 100 g butter. Then add a few tablespoons of cream.

Cut donuts in half. Fill one half with one teaspoon of filling, a cream, then cover with the other half of donuts. And so on.
We can serve donuts sprinkled with powder sugar or topped with chocolate icing.


Small bread-Lepinje

In a small bowl mix 20 g of yeast with 1 teaspoon of sugar and 250 g of lukewarm water. Set aside until it starts to foam and bubble up about 20 minutes.

In other bowl put together teaspoon of salt, 1/2 kg of flour and yeast mixture. Mix it well and make a firm dough as for bread and leave it to grow about an hour. Than make 2 or 3 balls of it ( if you wish smaller or bigger lepinje ) and stretch each ball to a thickness of one centimeter. Put bread in 250 degree hot pen for baking and bake it for 15 minutes.

You may stuffe them with cheese and eggs.For one lepinja it is enough to mix one egg and 100 g of cheese.


Strudel with poppy seeds

This is the measure for 3 to 5 strudel.


First we ming half liter of milk and half a liter of water.

In yeast add a little salt and sugar.

Mix with flour. Leave that to raise.

Add 2 tablespoons of fat and leave again he raise.


2 dl milk boil with sugar and add 1 cube of margarine.
In the hot add 2 bags of 200 g ground poppy.

Raise dough stretch, paint filling and make strudel. Leave that to said. Bake in heated oven about 40 minutes at 220 degrees
