Rice-pudding



1l milk
1 l water
3 cups rice
3 cups sugar
vanilla sugar
cinnamon to taste

We mix water and milk, add sugar and vanilla.
We cooking all that. When begin to boil add washed rice.
Cook to desired density.
Move from the stove and pour to in sauser.
Encouraged with cinnamon.


Let it cool down a bit.

Wedding cabbage



500 g pork
500 g beef
300 g of dry ribs
300 g of dry bacon
2 heads of cabbage
10 seeds peppercorns
3 bay leaf
2 0nions
2 dry red pepper
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

Cut bacon on the leaves and put at the bottom of the pot for cooking. From the cabbage remove the root and both heads of cabbage cut in 8 pieces.

In a pot put first the bacon over cabbage then mixed meat and one-half onion, bay leaf and cayenne pepper.

Sequence repeat the same row.

Put the cabbage on the top and over him put the dry red peppers.

Pour into cold woterand cook on a quiet fire about 4 hours.

The cooking water should evaporate as cabbage would not be watery liquid.

If need we can put salt.

With cabbage serve corn bread.

Raspberry cake



First we make the crust of 4 eggs, 4 tablespoons sugar, 4 tablespoons flour, 2 tablespoons oil, and one powder.

Crust bake at 220 degrees for 15 minutes.

When the corps is ready we spill over hot filling.

For the filling we need 400 grams of water to boil with 100 grams of sugar. Add one kilogram raspberry and one vanilla pudding.

Leave it to cool place.

Instead of raspberry we can add any other fruit: strawberry, cherry, currant...

Sauerkraut



In Serbia, each household makes winter provisions in autumn. Besides ajvar, peppers, jams, sugared fruit we make and sauerkraut.

Salted heads of cabbage put in vat or barrel and pour with water and vinegar. Cover it. Leave heads of cabbage a month to come along.

Sauerkraut is eaten as a salad or can be cooked.

In any case, it is very healthy.

We shred head of sauerkraut on noodles, put oil and add a little ground red pepper. This is a wonderful and refreshing salad. Goes great with roasted potatoes and cheese.

Cabbage soup



For a short time we can make a great soup. The only thing we need is fresh groceries. For cooking cabbage soup we need a carrot, onion, head cale. I decide to cook cale but you can choice other types of cabbage. We need meat. Best is 300 g veal and cut in cubes and a piece of dried meat.

The onion and carrot finely shred. Fry in oil. Add meat and cabbage. All together cook. Add liter of cold water. Match. Cook about an hour until all ingredients are not cooked. Salt to taste. Goes great with bread and cheese.

Cabbage



Cabbage comes from Europe. Most used in Roman times. There are many types of cabbage. Most used sauerkraut, red cabbage, cauliflwer, kohlrabi, broccoli.

Sauerkraut is healthy. It has high amounts of vitamin C. Good for removal of many diseases. Who eats it in the winter will not be ill, viruses can not do anything.


Domestic biscuits



125 g hazelnuts cut on papers.

Mix 350 g flour,175 g margarine, 150 g sugar, 1 sachet vanilla sugar, 2 eggs, a litlle salt, hazelnuts and 100 g og dry grapes and make crisp dough of it.

Shape dumpling thickness about 4 cm and leave them 24 hours in a cool place.

Dumpling cut to 1/2 cm thick pads, range them in lubricate baking pan and bake 15-20 minutes.

We get about 100 biscuits.
