Proja with spinach

To make Proja we need to mix one cup of white flour, cup of corn flour, cup of oil, cup of yogurt, 2 eggs, 300 g cheese, handful spinach and baking powder. Put all it into greased mould.

Bake it at 230 degrees for half an hour.

It is good to eat Proja with yogurt.



This cake is very tasty and quickly prepared!

For the crust we need whisk 5 eggs with 5 tablespoons of sugar 5 tablespoons of flour and half baking powder. Bake 15 minutes at 200 degrees.

Over baked crust pour syrup made of 1/2 cup of sugar and small cup of water.

For filling we need:

15 tablespoon of milk, 7 spoons of sugar, 100 g of black chocolate, 2 tablespoons of cocoa. This fill should be boil until it become densely. When fill is cooled add 125 g of butter mixed with 3 tablespoons of sugar.

Pour all with whipped cream.



These days in my country in each home you can feel the smell of making food for the winter which we call ZIMNICA. My favorite smell is smell of AJVAR. It is so delicious that you wish to lick your fingers. Literally!

This is a recipe from my mother.

We need: 5 kg of long red peppers, 0,5 kg of eggplant, 250 g of oil and salt to taste.

First wash pepper then dry and bake on the stove or barbecue. Do the same with eggplant. Peel the peppers and eggplant. Grind them. All put in a pot for cooking. Add oil and salt. Cook until it is well cooked.

Pour in well-washed, dried and slightly heated jars.


Roasted peppers

Peppers for the winter we can prepare in many ways. One way is roasted peppers. First wash and dry peppers. Than bake them in baking pan or grill. Wait to cool and then peel them. We pack them in freezer.

During the winter we can use them for a salad with a little oil, salt and garlic. Or for breading, or just burn them with some salt in oil.

They are good with cheese or sour cream.
